THE SHEEPDOGS to headline 2016 lineup!

Thompson, MB - Nickel Days is thrilled to announce this year’s Nickel Days Dance headliner as The Sheepdogs. Known for their pure, simple, good time rock-n-roll style, The Sheepdogs are currently touring in support of their newest and fifth album Future Nostalgia. The album features leading track “Downtown,” which became the top added song on Canadian Rock Radio. The new single “I’m Gonna Be Myself” has already climbed into the Top 5 within the Active Rock Charts.

“We’re so proud to bring The Sheepdogs to Northern Manitoba,” notes Nickel Days President Wendell Fitzpatrick. “They’re a rock band with many claim-to fames including gold and platinum records, sharing the stage with rock icons and a great new album, we have no doubt this is going to be the event of the summer in Thompson!”

The Nickel Days Dance happens this year on Saturday, June 25th. Doors open at 8:00 pm and it’s happy hour pricing ($3 a drink!) until 9:30. The dance will also feature some amazing local talent to open up the show, keep an eye on the Nickel Days social media for further announcements (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). Tickets ($40) will go on sale in April.
